High Calorie Breast Milk Preparation


SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Wash hands before preparing formula

Boil all utensils (bottles, nipples, rings, caps, measuring spoons, etc.) for 5 minutes

ALWAYS ADD POWDER TO BREAST MILK. Mix thoroughly; a blender or wire whisk is helpful.

Pour desired amount into each bottle and feed infant.

NOTE:IF INFANT IS OVER 3 MONTHS OF AGE, THERE IS NO NEED TO BOIL UNTENSILS


TO WARM BOTTLE:

Place bottle of formula into pan of warm water for 5 minutes or until desired temperature is reached. Always test temperature of formula before feeding.

Room temperature formula should be discarded after 1 hour.


Neosure Powder Supplement


24 calorie 1 tsp. Neosure/75 ml breast milk


27 calorie 1 tsp. Neosure/45 ml breast milk


30 calorie 1 level scoop Neosure/130 ml breast milk


Standard Powder Formula (Enfamil, Isomyl , etc.)


24 calorie 1 tsp. powder/ 90 ml breast milk


27 calorie 1 tsp. powder/55 ml breast milk


30 calorie 1 level scoop powder/ 115 ml breast milk
